We Believe
We believe in the Godhead, one God who exists as Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is eternal and head over all.
GOD – THE FATHER God is the creator of all things, head of all things. He created the heavens and the Earth, as expressed in the Holy Scriptures. In His love, He created man (both male and female) in His image, that we would be in fellowship with Him as our creator.
JESUS – THE SON OF GOD We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was with the Father and the Holy Spirit in the beginning. He came into the world (dwelt among us) that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy and become the redeemer of a lost world. For man’s redemption, He left heaven was born of the Virgin Mary, received a human body and sinless human nature without ceasing to be God.
THE HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit is God. He was active in the Old Testament and was given in fullness at Pentecost. The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer immediately after he places his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit, God provides the power to live the Christian life. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer for service and to witness, and cleanses us from the old nature and conforms us to the image of Christ. We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit, separate themselves from worldly practices and witnessing by life and by the word the truths of the Holy Scriptures.
THE HOLY BIBLE We believe in the Holy Scriptures of God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the only supreme authority in all manners of faith and conduct.
THE CHURCH We believe the Church is God’s ordained institution, headed by Christ. The Church is composed of all believers and is organized for worship, for fellowship, for the administration of the sacraments, for spiritual growth and support and for evangelizing the world. The Church is to be found active and alive and in one body on the earth until the return of Christ. The Church does not merely exist to get people into heaven, but also to train and equip them so they are complete in Christ and able to live for Him here on the Earth.
